The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV has been transforming healthcare in Southern Nevada since 2017. We deliver high-quality innovative education, research, and superb clinical care to meet the healthcare needs of the growing and diverse population of Nevada. Our mission is to serve our patients, students, medical professionals, and community as a transformational force for improving healthcare in Nevada.

From our brand new medical education building to our residency and fellowship programs and exciting research opportunities, the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV boasts endless possibilities to suit a variety of interests and career goals. With a group practice, UNLV Health provides care to more than 10,000 patients per month in its 17 primary care and specialty care clinics, and its partner hospitals.

Pediatric faculty provide hands on education to students and residents, encourage participation in scholarly activities/research and provide care to the children of Las Vegas. Working alongside APRNs, Registered Dieticians, Psychologists, and Community Health Workers, we take the time to teach our learners to listen to our patients and to understand their complex needs with compassion. Our practice is in the community, making health care accessible to our homeless youth, refugees, students in schools, and youth and families who are affected by HIV.  

Our multi-specialty faculty practice offers adolescent medicine, developmental/behavioral pediatrics, endocrinology, gastroenterology, general pediatrics, infectious diseases, neurology and pulmonology services. Our practice works closely with a team of community faculty members who support our educational endeavors in multiple fields across pediatrics. Additionally, our pediatric patients and their families have the opportunity to receive wrap-around health services from a variety of physicians across the practice who specialize in the divisions of psychiatry, otolaryngology, surgery, family and sports medicine, internal and emergency medicine, gynecologic surgery & obstetrics, and dentistry.
