An estimated 5.5 million Americans will develop an eating disorder this year, but only 23% of those people will get treatment, and an even smaller fraction will get treatment that actually works. Equip was built by clinical experts and people with lived experience to bridge this unacceptable gap, and make evidence-based, outcomes-driven care accessible to each person with an eating disorder. 

Equip uses a virtual-first approach that allows patients to recover at home without uprooting their lives. Each patient at Equip is matched with a dedicated 5-person care team, which includes a medical provider, therapist, dietitian, and mentors. This team works with the patient and their loved ones to create a personalized treatment plan pulling from the leading evidence-based modalities.
