Vaccines are so successful that younger parents have never seen the diseases they prevent, leading to misperceptions that vaccines are not needed. Additionally, anti-vaccination sentiment and misinformation have increased since the COVID-19 pandemic. The session will provide practitioners means to discuss the importance of vaccines and the science behind vaccine development. This session is part of the Passport to Pediatric Medical Subspecialties Pilot Program! To learn more, see here.
