Dr. Forster is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the divisions of Pediatric Hospital Medicine and Pediatric Nephrology at The University of Pittsburgh. She is also a k-funded researcher and runs a research lab that focuses on host-pathogen interaction in the urinary tract of children with complex genitourinary anomalies with a goal of differentiating UTIs from benign bacterial infection of the urinary tract. She is the co-section editor of "Method/ology" section of Hospital Pediatrics that focuses on providing educational information on research methods.
