Diagnosis and management of urinary tract infections (UTIs) in children are not always clear-cut and require clinical judgment. This session will review data on sensitivity/specificity of urine microscopy and leukocyte esterase tests, colony counts, imaging, short-course antimicrobial therapy, and prophylaxis for UTIs in children. This session is part of the Passport to Pediatric Medical Subspecialties Pilot Program! To learn more, see here.
