Xylazine increasingly is found in the illicit drug supply, enhancing and prolonging the effects of short-acting fentanyl. This session will discuss the epidemiology of xylazine and associated overdoses, clinical presentations, and management following exposure. Attendees will learn how to integrate xylazine education into harm-reduction and overdose-prevention practices.
