Just as pediatric practitioners need to differentiate infantile spasms from normal baby movements, they also need to be able to recognize if a “night terror” is something else. Faculty will discuss benign occipital epilepsy, childhood epilepsy with centrotemporal spikes, and frontal lobe epilepsy, all of which present with night-time episodes.
