Rakhi Gupta Basuray, MD, FAAP, is a physician in the Section of Hospital Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and an assistant professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Dr. Gupta Basuray attended medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, completed her pediatric internship at Penn State Children’s Hospital, and residency at Loyola’s Ronald McDonald Children’s Hospital in the Chicago area. She is board certified in pediatrics.

She serves as co-chair of the Newborn Nursery Quality Council, is actively engaged with curriculum review, instruction and assessment of learners, and serves on national committees, including co-chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Section on Hospital Medicine, Neonatal Hospitalist Subcommittee. She lives in the Columbus, Ohio area with her husband, son, and daughter.
