Kenna Sheak graduated from University of New Mexico where she completed her pediatric residency and then went on to complete a pediatric chief year. She moved to Cincinnati and joined the Pediatric Hospital Medicine division at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. She has a special interest in Native American health and improving social determinants of health for my patients and their families. She is involved in co-leading a multidisciplinary quality improvement team on increasing social needs screening on the inpatient unit. She also leads has led several lectures on Native American health and health disparities to current pediatric residents as well as residents in rural or global health programs around Cincinnati and invited to present at several other institutions.
