Dr. Pearl Chang is a fellowship-trained pediatric hospitalist at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington. She practices clinically in the newborn nursery and the pediatric hospital medicine wards. Dr. Chang is a co-leader of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ VIP Pediatric Acute Care Quality Network Project LIGHT, Learning and Implementing Guidelines for Hyperbilirubinemia Treatment. Her scholarly focus is in neonatal hyperbilirubinemia and she has conducted research on rebound hyperbilirubinemia and home phototherapy.
